Description
An Anchor Hocking Fire-King ‘Blue Cornflower’ 1 Quart Casserole Dish. This vintage oven-proof casserole dish is crafted from white opaque milk glass, featuring two integrated handles. Its exterior is adorned with a distinctive blue stylized floral pattern. The underside of the dish is clearly marked “ANCHOR HOCKING, ” “Fire-King, ” “OVEN-PROOF, ” “MADE IN U.S.A., ” and “1-QT., ” along with the numbers “439,” “39,” and “7M, ” consistent with mid-20th century production. The dish is accompanied by a clear glass lid, separately embossed “PYREX” and “666C-A, ” indicating it may be a mismatched or replacement lid.
