An NSK 6-inch Vernier Dial Caliper, made in Japan. This precision measuring tool features a stainless steel body marked “NSK, ” “NIPPON SOKUTEI” (Japan Measurement), “STAINLESS, ” “HARDENED, ” and “MADE IN JAPAN.” It is equipped with a prominent yellow dial indicator, protected by a clear cover, which also displays “NSK” and “MADE IN JAPAN, ” with numerical markings from 0 to 90. The caliper is housed within its original dark stained wooden case, which features metal clasps and hinges, and a green felt-lined interior. The underside of the case bears a worn paper label reading “Japan Micrometer.”
