Description

A pair of 90% Silver Franklin Half Dollars. The obverse of each coin features a right-facing portrait of Benjamin Franklin, with the inscription “LIBERTY” above and “IN GOD WE TRUST” below. The visible dates are 1952 on the left coin and 1961 on the right coin. The reverse design showcases the Liberty Bell, encircled by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “HALF DOLLAR, ” with the Latin motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” inscribed on the bell itself. A ‘D’ mint mark, indicating the Denver Mint, is visible above the bell on the 1961 coin. Both coins are composed of a silvery metal, consistent with the 90% silver composition typical for this series.
