Description
A pair of U.S. Walking Liberty 90% Silver Half Dollars, comprising a 1942-dated example and a 1945-dated example. Each coin features the iconic ‘Walking Liberty’ design on the obverse, depicting a full-length figure of Liberty striding towards the sun, inscribed with ‘LIBERTY’ and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST,’ along with its respective date. The reverse of each coin shows an eagle perched on a mountain crag, surrounded by the text ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,’ the motto ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM,’ and the denomination ‘HALF DOLLAR.’ Both coins are composed of 90% silver.
