Description
A pair of Walking Liberty Half Dollars, comprising one dated 1942 and one dated 1945. Each coin features on its obverse a full-length figure of Liberty striding left, draped in the American flag, with a rising sun in the background, accompanied by the inscription “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the respective date. The reverse of each coin depicts an eagle perched on a mountain, encircled by the text “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “HALF DOLLAR.” The coins are composed of a silvery metallic material, consistent with 90% silver.
