Description

A 1982 View-Master ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ Deluxe Gift Canister. This cylindrical cardboard canister, originally intended to hold a 3-D Viewer and 6 3-D Reels, features ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ branding (© Warner Bros., Inc. 1982). Accompanying the canister are two plastic View-Master 3D viewers; one white with a blue button, marked ‘View-Master International Group Portland, Oregon Made in U.S.A.’, and one red with a blue button. The collection further includes three GAF ‘SHOWTIME’ ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ 3D picture packets (© Warner Bros., Inc. 1980), each designed to contain three reels and an illustrated booklet. Several loose View-Master reels are present, including one for ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ and another titled ‘JOE FORRESTER An NBC Television Series: The Boy Next Door’ (© 1976 Columbia Pictures Industries Inc.). A white plastic View-Master brand reel storage lid completes the lot.
