Description
This lot comprises a black amethyst glass trophy-form vase and a collection of seven assorted decorative stick pins. The vase is attributed to the L E Smith Glass Company, circa 1930s, and is recognized by the pattern names Dancing Nymphs or Snake Dance. The vase is constructed of opaque black glass, featuring a tapered body, twin handles, and a square pedestal base. The central body is decorated with deep relief molding, depicting two stylized figures, possibly nymphs or cupids, framed within a heart-shaped cartouche design.
