Description
A lot comprising two vintage aqua-tinted glass canning jars, manufactured by Ball, dating to the early 20th century. The jars are secured with clear glass caps utilizing a metal wire bail closure system. The jar on the left is mold-embossed with “Quick Seal” and “BALL” on the shoulder, and its base bears the mold number “3”. The jar on the right is mold-embossed with large script “Ball IDEAL” and “WIRE SIDE” on the neck, and its base bears the mold number “1”. Both jars feature the mold-embossed patent date “PAT’D JULY 14 1908” near the base.
