Description
A pair of vintage Pyrex mixing bowls constructed from heat-resistant glass. The bowls feature a rounded form and are decorated with the Speckle Confetti pattern, characterized by a spatterware style enamel finish of dark blue spots over a translucent light blue body. The bowls are of differing sizes, consistent with a nested set. The undersides of the bowls feature a deeply molded pattern of concentric rings. Clear embossed manufacturer text is visible on the base, including the word PYREX, USA, a partial model number (likely from the 400 series), and a cautionary message stating, NO FOR STOVETOP OR BROILER. One base has a small rectangular piece of blue masking tape applied to the center, handwritten with the number 28.
