Description
A trio of vintage canning jars, each constructed of aqua-blue tinted glass in a cylindrical form, utilizing a shoulder-seal design. Each jar is fitted with a matching glass lid secured by an oxidized metal wire bail closure mechanism. The jars are uniformly filled with a dense collection of naturally occurring marine specimens, primarily consisting of small to medium-sized bivalve and clam shells in white, tan, and gray hues. One jar also contains a small, dried starfish specimen. Faint embossed lettering is visible on the exterior glass, including the partial text IDE on one jar, likely indicative of a manufacturer or style designation.
