Description
A pair of kerosene hurricane lanterns constructed of enameled metal and clear glass globes, each featuring a wire bail handle. The collection consists of two distinct examples. The first is finished in black enamel. This lantern is marked on the top cap with the embossed text LAMPLIGHT FARMS and stamped CHINA on the fuel tank base near the adjustment mechanism. The second lantern is finished in bright green enamel. The top cap of the green lantern is embossed with the numbers 24310 and 01312. Additional manufacturer text is present on the fuel tank but is obscured by wear and residue. Both lanterns feature adjustment mechanisms for the wick.
