Description
This lot comprises two distinct items. The first is a single sterling silver spoon by Reed & Barton, featuring an ornate handle with scrollwork and a cartouche-like terminal, indicative of Rococo or Victorian design. The spoon is clearly marked “Reed & Barton STERLING” on the stem and is presented sealed in its original clear plastic packaging. The second item is a complete 2003 United States Mint Proof Set. This set includes a Cent, Nickel, Dime, Half Dollar, Dollar, and five distinct State Quarters from the 2003 series (Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri, Arkansas). All encapsulated coins uniformly bear the date “2003” and standard U.S. coin inscriptions. The set is housed in its original outer box, which features the Statue of Liberty and “50 STATE QUARTERS” branding, and includes two sealed plastic display cases containing the proof-quality coins, along with its “Certificate of Authenticity” signed by the Director of the United States Mint.
