Description
A vintage illuminated advertising display featuring the Budweiser Clydesdale team, manufactured by Kribs Inc. The piece consists of a black molded plastic base supporting a clear plastic rectangular housing, within which a miniature, gold-toned plastic sculpture of a Clydesdale team pulling a wagon is positioned against a backdrop replicating the classic red Budweiser beer label. The front of the base features a recessed plaque inscribed with “World Champion Clydesdale Team.” Visible text on the label backdrop includes “Budweiser KING OF BEERS,” “THE WORLD RENOWNED,” “GENUINE,” and standard descriptive text about the beer, along with “ANHEUSER-BUSCH, INC. BREWERS OF BUDWEISER ST. LOUIS, MO. U.S.A.” on an internal metallic plate. The back of the base also displays “Budweiser KING OF BEERS” in gold lettering and retains a manufacturer’s label identifying “KRIBS INC. 13TH & PALM STREETS ST. LOUIS, MO.,” stating it was “MANUFACTURED FOR ANHEUSER-BUSCH” with a production date of “6/81” (June 1981) and item number “004-130-79.”
