Lot 103:
Description
A single large molded glass carboy or demijohn, attributed to Crisa and identified by market consensus as a 5-gallon capacity water bottle. The bottle is constructed of clear glass exhibiting a slight blue-green tint. The robust cylindrical body features molded horizontal ribs and vertical ridges forming a grid pattern for reinforcement. It transitions to tapering shoulders and a narrow, threaded neck finish designed for a cap or stopper. The base is heavily embossed with molded text, partially obscured by residue, including the cautionary phrases “DON’T, ” “BUMP OR HEA[T], ” and “WHEN HOT.”
