NEW YEARS DAY FUN! LIVE AUCTION - SIMULCAST TOO! ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES ONLY
Lot 129:
Description
A single antique or vintage hand-pushed farming or gardening implement, likely a wheel hoe or single-wheel cultivator. The implement is constructed primarily of weathered wood handles and frame arms, connected by ferrous metal components. The identifying name PEERLESS is stenciled in black capital letters on one of the main wooden arms. The implement features a large, single spoked metal wheel connected to the supporting frame via red-painted metal braces. The working end is fitted with a pointed metal plow or furrowing share. A secondary, heavily rusted rectangular blade attachment is also visible, temporarily secured to the frame by twine, suggesting it is a removable accessory.
