Description
A vintage pressed steel pedal car attributed to the Murray company, styled after a mid-1950s American station wagon or tandem vehicle. The elongated body features a squared front end with a wide grille impression and dual headlight impressions. Constructed primarily of pressed steel, the car includes a four-spoke cast metal steering wheel, metal pedals, and four spoked metal wheels. The rear section is fitted with an attached metal seat assembly, characteristic of the Murray wagon models. Remnants of the original dark maroon or red paint are visible, particularly around a hood aperture and on the side body where an oval, stylized manufacturer’s decal is partially present but illegible. A small metal bell on a chain is attached near the hood.
