Description
This is a vintage wooden beverage crate manufactured for the Coca-Cola company. The crate is constructed of wood panels reinforced with metal strapping secured by nails at the corners. The exterior is painted yellow with prominent red script lettering on the long sides reading DRINK Coca-Cola IN BOTTLES, accompanied by the TRADE MARK ® designation. The internal wooden dividers create 24 compartments (four columns by six rows) designed to hold standard beverage bottles. The short sides feature horizontal cut-out slots for handling.
