A novelty coin bank, identified through market consensus as the Tom Thumb Mail Box Piggy Bank, manufactured by Western Stamping Corp. The bank is constructed of dark blue painted metal and is designed to resemble a U.S. Postal Service collection box. The front face features labeled slots for "PACKAGES, " "LETTERS, " and "COINS." The reverse side displays the modern U.S. Mail eagle logo decal. The base contains a promotional sticker reading "COMPLIMENTS OF: Bankers’ Service Specialties, Inc. Jacksonville, Florida 32211," along with a $6.00 price sticker. Faint manufacturer markings on the base suggest Western Stamping and ‘Made in Korea.’
