Description
A single antique parlor stove constructed of heavy cast iron, finished in matte black. The rectangular body is supported by four ornate cabriole-style legs resting on an extended foot platform. The sides are decorated with high-relief rococo scrolling surrounding a central oval panel. The front features a hinged door opening to the firebox. The door is marked with the cast number 20. The top surface includes a circular removable cooking plate cover and a rear flue opening. This type of stove was historically used for wood burning.
