Description
A set of four vintage advertising novelty pails, manufactured by Cheinco Housewares for Budweiser beer. Each pail is constructed from lithographed tin or metal, featuring the classic Budweiser label in red, white, and gold. The design includes “Budweiser LAGER BEER,” “CONTENTS 12 FL. OZ.,” Anheuser-Busch, Inc. brewery information, descriptive text about the beer, and world regions surrounding the ‘AB’ crest. The word “GENUINE” is printed vertically along one side. The reverse of one pail clearly displays a red “CHEINCO HOUSEWARES” logo. The interiors are finished in a gold tone, and each pail is fitted with a simple, curved metal handle.
