Hand-carved wooden tribal mask or headdress, likely West African (Guro or Baule style), featuring an elongated face set above a long neck and two projecting limbs. The mask is decorated with polychrome pigments in red, dark blue, black, and white. The face is predominantly red with stylized features, including narrow eyes and a pronounced nose. The mask is surmounted by a tall finial with curved projections or horns painted dark blue and black. The reverse of the mask shows deep carving marks and includes a thin wire secured through drilled holes, likely for display or attachment.
