Description
A single collector’s scale model of a 1965 Seagrave aerial ladder fire engine. The model is constructed using die-cast metal and plastic components, finished primarily in bright red with extensive chrome and diamond-plate silver accents on the bodywork and running boards. The engine is mounted on a polished, maroon-finished wooden display base. Detailed components include the extension ladder assembly, rubber tires, and cab interior. Visible identification includes a brass plaque affixed to the base reading "1965 SEAGRAVE." The front grille is molded with the word "Seagrave, " and the cab doors feature decals reading "F.D. LADDER CO. No. 5." The original informational hang tag, marked "1965 SEAGRAVE FIRE ENGINE, " is present.
