Description
A single folk art sculpture depicting a rooster, constructed from welded sheet metal. The piece features exaggerated, whimsical elements, most notably a large, stylized eye with a central black pupil. The sculpture is finished in bright, deliberate strokes of paint, utilizing yellow, magenta, royal blue, teal, and red to define the plumage and features. The rooster stands on thin legs with splayed feet, stabilized by a circular yellow wire base. A white square inventory or auction tag bearing the number 93 is affixed to the red comb. The construction shows visible welds consistent with its handmade nature.
