Description
A Buckeye Pottery Co. 5 Gallon stoneware jug. This large, two-tone ceramic jug features a cylindrical lower body and a conical upper section tapering to a short spout with an attached ear handle. The lower body is an unglazed or lightly glazed off-white/cream color exhibiting fine craquelure, while the upper shoulder, spout, and handle are coated in a glossy dark brown glaze. A prominent blue stylized number “5” enclosed within a heart shape is visibly stamped on the front of the lighter-colored body.
