A single vintage logging tool identified as D.L.T. Co. Logging Timber Carrier Tongs. The tool features a heavy, worn wooden handle attached to a cast iron head assembly. The head assembly includes two opposing, sharply pointed metal grapples designed for lifting or moving timber. The central cast iron clamp securing the head to the handle is clearly embossed with the initials D. L. T. CO.
