Description
A vintage gravity racer, identified by visible markings as the Flexy Racer No. 300 model, commonly associated with the Flexible Flyer brand. The object functions as a steerable wheeled sled, constructed with a deck made from multiple stained wooden slats supported by a steel frame. It features four small wheels with solid rubber rims and red-painted metal hubs. The steering mechanism consists of a curved metal handle/runner at the front. Stamped black text on the center wood slat identifies the item as “FLEXY RACER No. 300,” “PAT. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.,” and “Made in U.S.A.” The deck also features a heavily worn decal depicting an eagle or bird graphic overlaid with a banner reading “FLEXY RACER,” along with a painted arrow motif running the length of the wood.
