Description
A decorative art glass centerpiece constructed from blown and sculpted glass. The base is formed as a shallow, ruffled bowl with an eight-lobed flower shape, executed in semi-translucent deep amethyst or purple glass. The interior of the bowl features swirled white glass decoration. The central depression contains a controlled bubble pattern. Affixed to the center of the base is a lamp-worked glass sculpture depicting a rearing ram or bighorn sheep. The figurine utilizes clear glass elements contrasted with purple glass defining the body and horns. A handwritten number 206 is marked on a piece of green masking tape applied to one of the base lobes.
Diameter approximately 9.5 to 10 inches.
