Description
This lot comprises two items: a vintage tabletop radio receiver and a power cord. The radio features a molded dark brown or black cabinet constructed of Bakelite or plastic resin, exhibiting Streamline Moderne or Art Deco styling elements. The front face includes a rectangular dial marked with frequency scales ranging from 55 to 160, centered by the brand name AIRLINE. Controls consist of two large knobs labeled VOLUME and TUNING, situated below the dial face. A bank of six pushbutton positions is present, with two positions currently filled by buttons marked W and WX.
