Description
This decorative display piece consists of a natural-edged burl wood base, likely redwood, supporting a United States 1921 Morgan silver dollar. The wood base is finished with a high-gloss polish on the upper surface, which contains a circular recess for the coin. The coin is positioned obverse-up, displaying the profile of Liberty, the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the date 1921. The wood exhibits a deep reddish-brown color with natural bark texture along the irregular perimeter. The underside of the base is flat and unfinished, showing faint handwritten markings.
