Description
A 2020-W Quarter Dollar coin from the ‘America the Beautiful’ series, featuring the American Samoa design. The obverse depicts George Washington in left-facing profile, surrounded by the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ” “LIBERTY, ” “IN GOD WE TRUST, ” and “QUARTER DOLLAR, ” with a prominent “W” mint mark. The reverse, dated 2020, illustrates an adult and juvenile bat with spread wings, accompanied by the text “NATIONAL PARK, ” “AMERICAN SAMOA, ” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM, ” which translates from Latin as “Out of many, one.” The coin is composed of a silver-colored metallic alloy.
