Description
An antique railroad switch signal lantern, attributed to manufacturers such as Adlake or Dressel, featuring a cylindrical pressed and cast metal body. The lantern is fitted with four large glass lenses in red and green, each surrounded by a conical metal reflector finished in corresponding paint. The structure includes a wire bail handle and a four-footed cast metal base for mounting. An embossed metal plate on the top provides patent information, though the text is obscured by heavy corrosion. The internal burner assembly is missing.
