Description
A vintage four-blade multi-tool folding pocket knife manufactured by the Imperial Knife Company of Providence, Rhode Island. This utility pattern knife, identified as the KampKing model, features a spear-point main blade, a can opener, a combination bottle opener and flathead screwdriver, and a tapered punch or awl. The main blade tang bears the Imperial crown logo and is stamped PROV. R.I. U.S.A. The can opener blade is marked CAN OPENER and P 2391732. The construction includes yellow cracked-ice celluloid handle scales over metal liners with polished metal bolsters and a steel bail. The handle scales are printed with black text for the Hulburt Oil and Grease Company Specialists in Coal Mine Lubrication.
