Description
Highland Mint Never Forget 9-11 Twin Towers World Trade commemorative silver round. This one-ounce .999 fine silver piece was produced to mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The obverse features a stylized 911 motif with the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center forming the numeral 11, set against a pentagonal background. Inscriptions include 2001 | 2021 and NEVER FORGET, surrounded by six five-pointed stars. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with a USA shield, a banner inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST, and the text ALL GAVE SOME and SOME GAVE ALL. The peripheral legends identify the three attack sites: WASHINGTON, D.C., NEW YORK CITY, and SHANKSVILLE, PA. The reverse field bears the HM maker mark for the Highland Mint. The piece exhibits a proof-like finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices.
