Description
This matched pair of drop earrings is constructed from sterling silver with a tapered, three-dimensional form. The design features four horizontal bands of channel-set inlay, alternating between iridescent white mother-of-pearl and a polished black material. The drops are suspended from French hook ear wires accented with a small coil and loop. The reverse of each earring is incised with the silver fineness mark 925 and the Mexican registry mark TR-27. The ear wires are also stamped 925. The TR-27 mark indicates the jewelry was manufactured in Taxco, Mexico, by a registered silversmith.
