Description

Two items of transparent green depression glass featuring patterns identified as Cameo and Princess. Both pieces exhibit strong neon green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, confirming the presence of uranium oxide in the glass melt. The first item is a footed tumbler featuring an embossed oval medallion with a dancing figure, beaded swags, and floral motifs, attributed to the Hocking Glass Company Cameo pattern, also known as Ballerina, produced circa 1930-1934. The second item is a flared vase with a pedestal base, featuring scrollwork crests and ribbon bow motifs with floral swags, attributed to the Hocking Glass Company Princess pattern, produced circa 1931-1935. Both items are manufactured using pressed glass techniques with visible mold lines and no pontil marks.
