Description
This lot consists of three HO scale model train box cars from the Proto 1000 Series by Life-Like Products, Inc. Each 50 foot high roof box car features commemorative artwork by Norman Rockwell from the Four Freedoms series originally published in The Saturday Evening Post. The cars are constructed with plastic bodies and feature blackened metal wheels. Technical specifications printed on the packaging include body mounted Proto 2000 magnetic knuckle couplers and Proto 2000 trucks with needle point axles. Each car bears the NMRA Conformance logo. The set includes a blue box car featuring the Freedom of Speech illustration, a brown box car featuring the Freedom from Want illustration, and a tan box car featuring the Freedom to Worship illustration. Each car includes text referencing the specific 1943 edition of The Saturday Evening Post in which the artwork appeared.
