Description
A picnic basket manufactured by Basketville of Putney, Vermont, featuring woven wood splint construction with a dark-stained finish. The basket is designed with a solid wood plank lid and base, with the lid secured by metal hinges. The interior underside of the lid contains a wavy elastic band for utensil storage and bears a black ink stamp reading BASKETVILLE / PUTNEY / VERMONT. Included with the basket is an assortment of plastic picnic ware, comprising a red divided plate and several red and yellow cups.
