Description
This promotional model of a 1960 GMC pickup truck was manufactured by Liberty Classics, a division of Spec Cast, for Carquest Auto Parts. The vehicle is constructed of die-cast metal with plastic components and features a two-tone white and blue paint scheme with red pinstriping. The exterior includes the Carquest Auto Parts logo on the doors and tailgate, with the slogan Youll Find It At Carquest printed on the bedside panels. The truck features opening driver and passenger doors, a black plastic interior, and rolling wheels with cream-colored sidewalls and detailed hubcaps. The underside of the chassis features raised lettering that reads: Liberty Classics, 9173, Made in China, Libertyville IL, U.S.A., Div. by Spec Cast, 1960 GMC, Dyersville Ia., and LIMITED EDITION. This item was originally produced as a collectible coin bank.
