Description
This still bank is attributed to Brumberger and is designed as a replica of a mid-20th-century United States Postal Service collection box. The item is constructed from painted pressed steel. It features a functional upper pull-down hopper door embossed with the words PACKAGES and BILLS. Below this is a stationary horizontal slot embossed with the word LETTERS above the opening and COINS below it. The top horizontal surface retains an adhesive sticker titled MAIL COLLECTION TIMES with a printed schedule grid. The rear of the bank features an adhesive decal with the United States Postal Service eagle logo and the text U.S. MAIL with a registered trademark symbol. The bank is supported by four integrated steel legs.
