The canteen is equipped with a metal screw-on cap secured by a metal link chain and an adjustable green canvas shoulder strap. The felt cover is decorated with a pattern of red, brown, and cream stripes. The metal cap is embossed with the text MADE IN TAIWAN. This item includes its original cardboard retail box which features color graphics and a vintage price tag of $3.97.
