Description
This is a combination pintle hook and hitch ball assembly manufactured by Buyers Products. The unit is constructed from cast steel with a black finish and a chrome-plated hitch ball. The side of the main casting is marked with the raised letters BUYERS. The top of the pintle hook mechanism is marked with the raised characters 8 TON, and the side features the text U S PAT NO 7,156,411. The top surface of the chrome ball is stamped with the characters 2 5/16, SAE V-5, 16000 LB, MGTW, and 8 TON. The assembly is designed to fit a standard 2-inch square receiver. It includes a receiver hitch pin with an R-clip and a safety locking pin for the pintle hook attached by a link chain.
