Description
A United States military issue MIL-K-818 series multi-tool folding pocket knife, commonly referred to as a demonstration or demo knife. This example was manufactured by Camillus Cutlery Co. and features all-stainless steel construction. The tool is equipped with a four-blade configuration including a spear point master blade, a dedicated can opener, a combined bottle opener and flat-head screwdriver, and a leather awl or punch. The handle scales feature a bolstered diamond-pattern texture for grip and are incised with the letters U.S. followed by periods. A steel bail or clevis is attached to the end for lanyard securement. The tang of the master blade is clearly stamped with CAMILLUS on the top line and 1977 on the second line. The can opener tool is stamped with the words CAN OPENER.
