Description
An antique large-format glass bottle, identified as a carboy or demijohn, typically used for the storage and transport of liquids. The vessel is constructed of mold-blown aqua-colored glass, featuring visible vertical mold seams along the sides and neck. The design includes a broad cylindrical body with a sloping shoulder leading to a hand-finished, flared blob-top rim. A faint, circular molded medallion is present on the side of the bottle, though the specific lettering or graphics are not clearly legible. The underside of the base exhibits a prominent, rough pontil scar from the manufacturing process. The glass contains various manufacturing inclusions, such as air bubbles and striations.
