Description
A student-grade 1/2 size violin outfit featuring a carved wood body finished in a bright orange-red translucent varnish. The instrument is constructed with a blackened hardwood fingerboard, tuning pegs, and chin rest. A metal tailpiece is fitted with four integrated fine tuners. The interior of the instrument does not contain a visible maker’s label or stamp through the f-holes. Accessories include a wooden bow with a plastic or ebony frog featuring a circular inlay, a brass-colored metal shoulder rest with red velvet padding, and a four-tube pitch pipe. The shoulder rest bracket is marked with the words MADE IN CHINA and characters in Chinese script. The pitch pipe is labeled PESKUO VP4 and indicates the notes 1E, 2A, 3D, and 4G. The outfit is housed in a black fabric-covered shaped hard case with a green plush-lined interior, featuring an exterior zippered pocket and a small white sticker on the side marked 1/2. A spare, unfitted bridge is contained in an orange plastic case.
