Description
This squirrel-resistant bird feeder is modeled after a traditional red barn and is attributed to North States. It is manufactured from painted metal and features clear acrylic window inserts on the side panels and a rectangular viewing window on the front. The side panels are decorated with X-shaped barn door motifs. The feeding mechanism is weight-activated; a heavy animal landing on the spring-loaded metal perch causes a shroud with oval openings to drop, obstructing the seed ports. The peaked black roof includes a star-shaped finial that holds a braided metal cable for hanging. A strip of blue adhesive tape with the handwritten characters 18.5 is located on the roof.
