Description
This folding swing-guard pocket knife is manufactured by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. of Bradford, Pennsylvania. It is a Cheetah pattern, identified by the tang stamps as model 61953 L SS. The knife features two blades: a large clip point main blade with a locking mechanism and a secondary pen blade. The primary blade includes a functional folding swing guard stamped TESTED XX. Both blades exhibit a mirror-polished finish and are constructed from surgical stainless steel. The obverse tang of the main blade is stamped CASE XX with a single dot, while the reverse tang of the pen blade is stamped USA 61953 L SS. The blade face is further decorated with USA printed in blue. The handle is made of smooth natural bone, embellished with a patriotic American flag motif featuring red and white stripes and white stars on a blue field. Construction details include nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. The knife is accompanied by its original black suede leather slip pouch embossed with the manufacturer logo.
