Description
This is a corded reciprocating saw manufactured for Craftsman by Sears, Roebuck and Co. The tool features a grey and black ergonomic housing with integrated rubberized grips for improved handling. It is powered by an 8.0 Amp motor designed for 120V AC operation at 60 Hz, providing a variable speed range of 0 to 2,500 strokes per minute. The saw is equipped with a tool-less blade clamp system, operated by a red release lever located behind the adjustable metal pivoting shoe. The side of the housing displays a specification label with the model number 172.171830 and an ETL certification mark. This unit has been tested and is in working condition.
