Description
A 1943 US Walking Liberty half dollar struck by the Philadelphia Mint. This 90 percent silver coin features the Walking Liberty obverse design by Adolph A. Weinman and a reverse depicting an eagle perched on a mountain crag with a pine branch. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1943 on the obverse, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR on the reverse. The coin lacks a mint mark, identifying it as a Philadelphia Mint issue. It is presented in a clear plastic BCW-branded square protective flip.
