Description
This private mint silver round was produced by SilverTowne, a refinery based in Winchester, Indiana. The obverse features a design inspired by the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, depicting Lady Liberty striding toward a sunburst while carrying oak and olive branches, encircled by a border of stars. The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings perched on a branch, a design based on Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ 1907 gold double eagle motif. Visible inscriptions on the reverse include ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER along the left edge, with the SilverTowne script-style maker’s mark and crossed-tool logo located on the right.
