This is a US 1885 Morgan silver dollar. The obverse features the Morgan Liberty Head design and the date 1885. The reverse features the Heraldic Eagle design and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. There is no mint mark visible on the reverse above the DOLLAR inscription, indicating this coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The edge is reeded.
